Minimum Qualifications ? Candidate must currently be certified in New York State as a Dietitian or Nutritionist OR

* currently be registered with the American Dietetic Association as a Dietitian OR
* be eligible for a 70.1 transfer OR
* be reachable on the Civil Service List.

Duties Description The Dietitian will provide total nutrition care to assigned individuals which include the following duties:

* Ensure that all assigned individuals have appropriate diets and dietary orders.
* Ensure dietary consistency as ordered by physician.
* Complete nutritional assessments for all assigned individuals.
* Research and plan substitutions on meal plans with residential staff.
* Provide in-service training for staff on a variety of nutritionally based subjects.
* Attend and participate in annual and semi-annual meetings.
* Provide periodic oversight across all shift in assigned residences.
* TRAVEL WILL BE REQUIRED

Additional Comments SALARY INCLUDES $3,026 LOCATION PAY
